I can't believe how many quality pieces you've been uploading -- it's great! I'm impressed; I struggle to finish a piece a week. I know it's not a competition -- I just can't help be wowed by all these pieces you've been uploading, and rather happy that you're sharing them with the rest of us. I hope your mom doesn't follow Artspots (or maybe doesn't need a surprise?). :) I like the backgrounds in this set, especially on this piece. It looks almost metallic. Again, very nice!

Its called stress. XD I had only a small window of opportunity between when I finished school for the quarter and when I needed to have Christmas presents ready for my family so I set aside a couple of days and just..drew. These are all less than 5X7 in size so it wasn't that hard. Each took about max 2.5 hours. I work way faster under pressure.
